On your device and in your own private iCloud, so the same inspections appear on your iPhone, iPad and Mac. There is no ProofWalk account and no ProofWalk server. You can switch iCloud sync off in Settings.
How do I compare a move-out with the move-in?
Open the unit, tap New inspection, choose Move-out, and leave "Compare with move-in" switched on. The move-out gets the same rooms and items, shows the move-in condition under each one, and the report prints move-in and move-out photos side by side.
How do I add a deduction?
On a move-out, tap the item's name, enter the amount under Deduction and what it is for. The report ends with an itemized statement and the balance against the deposit held.
A photo is sideways.
Tap the item's name, touch and hold the photo, then Rotate.
Can the tenant sign?
Yes. In the Signatures section, tap Tenant and hand over the phone. Turn it sideways for a bigger pad; the signature fits either way. If the tenant is not there, switch on "Tenant not present" and the report says so.
Why are the date and address printed on my photos?
So they hold up as evidence months later, even after being emailed or screenshotted. Turn it off in Settings if you prefer.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling during the free trial means you are never charged. Everything you made stays readable and every report still exports after a subscription ends.
I paid but the app still shows the paywall.
Tap Restore on the paywall, and make sure you are signed into the same Apple Account that bought the subscription.
